The panels for these works are a combination of recycled pieces of wood and leftover cut-offs from other projects. I had been amassing a large collection of surfaces, and decided to just cradle them at whatever size they were to create a series of works. The other idea was to make paintings that would work together to create one enormous piece, but also work as individual paintings.
